It is a great pleasure to feature Dr Keki Mistry as a shining star of the Indian Orthodontic Galaxy. Dr Keki Mistry is well known figure internationally and is pioneer Orthodontist in Mumbai. His zeal and love for life is infectious and it is difficult to believe his years in life. He has been instrumental in organizing the Orthodontic profession in the country and to his credit still takes an active part in the annual get together of the profession. Dr Keki Mistry is an active practitioner in Orthodontics in the metropolitan city of Mumbai since the early 60s ,where he is now joined by his son Dr. Rushitum as an orthodontist. His daughter Dr. Siaesha, an esthetic dentist, is also an active part of the practice. Dr Keki Mistry has served the profession creditably. He is a past President of the Indian Dental Association and The Indian Orthodontic Society. It our pleasure to feature Dr Pradip Jayna as a shining star of the Indian Orthodontic Galaxy

Dr. Pradip Jayna is the first Orthodontist to start a private practice in Orthodontics in New Delhi. He comes from a very illustrious lineage and is the third generation in a family of dentists spanning a full 100 years. This year marks the century of the Jayna family in dentistry clearly making them the first family of dentistry in India.

Dr Pradip Jayna’s grandfather started as a dentist in the historic Chandni Chowk of Delhi in 1910, a premises still proudly held by the family as an heirloom and a part of the Dental history of India.

His children entering dentistry marks the fourth generation in dentistry. A record by itself.

Dr Pradip Jayna is man of the present, he was so in the 60s when he started and is still so in the 2010. A man given to moving with the times, he is comfortable with his surroundings forever. Looked upon as an icon, the younger generations have always looked up to him for guidance and on his part Dr Pradip Jayna has never disappointed.

A family man to the core he enjoys his holidays with the family far from the madden crowds and over load of clinical work.

Professionally few can compare with his contribution to the field of dentistry in general and to Orthodontics in particular. Having led from the front he has been the guiding light for a large number of memorable conferences and dental professional bodies.

King Georges’ Medical College Lucknow, where he received his BDS and MDS with laurels, and the Dental College at Glasgow Scotland UK where he received his D. Ortho he has had a very successful stint as a private practitioner in New Delhi.
